Characteristics of HL(LX) type elastic pin coupling
1. The structure is simple, easy to manufacture, and the installation, disassembly, and replacement of elastic components are relatively convenient, without the need to move the two couplings;
2. The material of the elastic element (column pin) is generally nylon 6, which has the ability to compensate for the offset of two axes with a small amount. It is not suitable for low-speed or heavy-duty transmission shaft systems with strong impact and vibration, and its strength conditions are not suitable;
3. The strength condition is to calculate the shear strength on the cross-section of the elastic pin and the compression strength between the pin and the hole wall; The HL type elastic column pin coupling uses a column pin with an elastic sleeve (rubber material) on one end, which is installed in the flange holes of the two halves of the coupling to achieve the connection between the two halves of the coupling. The elastic element is subject to shear during operation, and its reliability is extremely poor.
